Port Aransas is a small Texas coastal community
on Corpus Christi Bay. Is is set between Corpus Bay and
the sea on a barrier island. There are 2 ways to get there,
the long way around Corpus Bay, or across the narrows from Aransas
Pass via the Texas State ferry. Because of it's isolation,
it is much less crowded and is more peaceful than most of the
rest of the Texas coast.

This is the ferry that runs between Aransas Pass and Port
Aransas. |

This boat, the "Duke" is one we rode to go on
a tour of the bay. |

Atlantic bottle-nosed dolphins. There are an estimated 300+
dolphins in Corpus Bay. |

Seabirds are abundant in the area. This is the ocean
side of the island. |

An old lighthouse in the area. I don't know the story.
If you do, let me know! |

Sailing is a favorite activity on Corpus Bay. |

This ship was seen moored at the harbor in Corpus Christi.
I don't know the story on it either, I just thought it was
cool. If you know anything about it, let me know! |
